In a big, modern city there was a boy named Charlie, his father’s name was Aslam, and his mother’s name was Alma. His parents loved him a lot; they cared for him as he was still a baby, but he was 12. He was growing older day by day. He was becoming a mature boy who could understand everything that his parents used to say to him.

Charlie’s parents could not afford private schools, so he went to a simple government-aided school. Charlie was in class 8, he was a sharp-minded boy, he used to study religiously so that he could support his parents in the future, and stand on his own two feet, by becoming physically, emotionally, and financially independent.

Even though Charlie was doing everything right, fate was not in his favor, he had lots of problems, he used to stammer while speaking, and he suffered from the problem of double vision as he had crossed eyes. Not only this, but he also came from a low financial background which is why his father couldn’t afford heavy medical expenses. His father was a mere waiter in a small restaurant.

To run the family, Charlie’s mother also used to work as a maid in various houses near their colony. Both his parents used to work overtime, still, they found it hard to pay their son’s fees. But they never lost hope, as their only happiness was Charlie, after work whenever they used to come back home and they saw Charlie studying, their eyes used to get filled with tears.

Charlie’s father was an educated man, he graduated from Delhi University, but due to low employment rates, he couldn’t get a salaried job. But he used to keep applying for every job that he was eligible for, he knew that with a proper job, he could send Charlie to a big school so that he could study in a better manner.

All of Charlie’s classmates used to mock him for stammering and for his crossed eyes, they used to call him different names. They used to make of him, they used to say that he would not be able to do anything with his life, he would always be a loser who would stammer till eternity.

These words used to hit Charlie very hard, but then he would always wipe out his tears and start studying for the upcoming tests or assignments. His focus was always on proving everything through actions. He aimed to become a doctor, and he used to work with full determination towards his target.

One day, Charlie’s father came home delighted, with a box of pizza in his hand, he had tears in his eyes, he was very happy, he quickly went towards Charlie and hugged him tightly, he told him that he got a job as a teacher in a nearby coaching institute with a good salary.

That was the best day of his life, as his dream came true that he developed for Charlie. All of them were happy and motivated to work very hard to improve their status.

Moral of the story: Focus is everything if you focus on your goal, then there is no way that you do not reach the path of success.
